Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I’m Srinivasa Rao Simhadri. An IT Service Management consultant, an Independent Consultant and founder of PassionateAboutITSM.co.uk.

This site exists to share my passion for ITSM with you and the rest of the global IT Service Management community. Almost all of the content here on ITSM is free and I aim to make all of my content in neatly written blogs. I even share concepts, processes, and templates from my experience and attempt to make them as generic as possible.

Certified ITIL V3 Professional with expertise in Service Management Strategies. Have experience in big transformational projects and hand on experience in defining service models, operating models and end to end service design and transition and assist my customers to achieve business-centric outcomes in their journey towards service excellence. Passionate About ITSM is my forum to display all the trends and flavours in IT Service Management and businesses can adapt as per their vision and goals.

With degrees in Computer Science Engineering and Masters in Business Administration, it is inevitable that I would cross paths with ITSM, OSS/BSS, Governance Frameworks, Process Modelling, Tools and Technologies and People issue while implementing projects.

I worked with companies such as WM Morrisons, IBM, DixonsCarphone, Vodafone, Telefonica O2 UK, Alcatel, Lucent Technologies. A passion quickly evolved for ITSM, Processes and projects while working for these companies.

These customers have engaged me across the full end-to-end lifecycle of services projects from Service Delivery, Service Design and  Service Transition to Service Operations. I have led teams for a full end to end service introduction and also an advisory position as a Service Architect.

In fulfilling these projects, I’ve led teams and developed and designed services as per customer needs, driven improvement to existing services, Written global processes align with ISO20000 and IT Service Management(ITIL) best practices.

As an independent consultant (ie vendor agnostic, technology agnostic, service-provider agnostic), I have assisted organisations in streamline their work instructions aligned to their local and global processes.
